"I think this is a very nice experience for me installing a heater with Joe’s. Katarina and Kris are so helpful and they found the information and details of the heater and sent them to me. They also give me advice about the heater, so it made me easier to make a decision for the heater. Katerina also helped me to order the heater and the heater arrived without any delay. It saved me a lot of time. For the installation, Kris and his co-worker arrived on time and they did the work professionally. So right now the heater worked very well. I recommend Joe’s to all of you if you need professional help for the heating and air conditioning issue. Thank you Katerina and Kris and your co-worker too."

What are the differences between tank and tankless water heaters?
Tankless
- Heats water directly without the use of a storage tank
- Endless supply of on-demand hot water
- Uses less energy, as it only heats the water as needed
- No temperature fluctuations
- Space saving, freeing up square footage in your basement or mechanical room
- Up to 96% efficient
Tank
- Holds an amount of heated water within an insulated tank
- Standby heat loss as energy being used to maintain temperature of stored water while not using
- Tanks are available in different sizes: 40 to 100 gallons
- Up to 90% efficient
What is used to measure a water heater efficiency?
The energy factor (EF) is used to measure the efficiency of water heaters. The EF measures the amount of hot water produced per unit of fuel consumed over a typical day. The higher the EF number, the more efficient the water heater. The EF measures the efficiency on the assumed use of 64 gallons of hot water per day.
